Join Teresita and Mauricio Callejas in celebrating their 20th anniversary of living in Austin. They arrived to this wonderful city 20 years ago in July of 2002. This new album includes a new version of their very first song “Aún” and their latest one “Veinte”, which gives the album its title. “Frio” release Mar 11th
The new single “Frio” will be out on March 11th. The song was written as a way to cope with the chaotic Texas winter storm of 2021. It was inspired by the consequences of being without the basic services we all take for granted, as well as serving as a methaphor about how vulnerable we can become when, for different reasons, we get apart from our loved ones, whom are often taken for granted.
The song was recorded at “The Kitchen Studios” in Austin TX; written, performed and produced by Mauricio Callejas between February 2021 and February 2022. Will be released on Friday March 11th and distributed on all streaming platforms.
